Hello i am 54 years old,
Private pilot single engine land
Instrument rated
I have 1,780 total hrs.
Willing to invest some time and money to get my multi engine commercial rating
The question is, do i have a chance to get hired by any regional or majors at this age
And once i am ready where do i start

Please read the FAQ section as your question is addressed fully there. The short answer though is that the majors are out, but the regionals are still in.

Short answer, if you act quickly, a regional will snatch you up in a heartbeat. Most likely that’s as far as you’ll get though. Take a look at the FAQ section. It explains in detail what needs to be done.
