What a month it has been. Very good variety of flying this month. On a fun note, RST, Rochester MN, is the airport I did my first Solo XC to during my private training. It’s a amazing feeling getting to fly the Jet into the airport I flew solo to my first time.

With very little demand Envoy has announced the closure of our New York base. All this means is those of us there will be “displaced” to another base/airplane. I am sure going to miss New York and am grateful I got to experience flying there while we had it. I’ll find out this month what my new base will be and if I will be transitioning to the E-175.

I had 19 Days off and flew right around 45 hours.

I remember the first time I flew into ORF, which is where I had been an instructor for ATP. It was such a cool experience. The only place I really still have left on my list is to fly into SBN, the airport my grandfather leaned to fly at. As we do not fly into there with the Airbus, I keep looking for excuses to divert into, but haven’t been able to come up with one yet.
