After getting up at 4:45 every day this week, only to have my solo flight delayed due to rain, I finally got my first solo flight today.
I want to thank all of the mentors here for the great advice and to my instructor Nick (who I don’t think is on this site) for making this possible. I’ve had doubts about my age, ability, studying habits, etc…but I now feel great about my progress and can’t wait to see what’s next.

Thanks everyone! I was really struggling with my landings until last week when something just started “clicking”. I can’t pinpoint exactly what it was, but I was super happy with 7 of my 8 landings today. The 8th one was a little rough as I followed an Air Force C17 in and the wake turbulence was no joke!
