How can i pay for flight school if i can’t afford it.

Flight training is expensive and most don’t have the funds available to pay for it outright. The vast majority of aspiring pilots take out loans to cover the cost or simply wait till then can afford it.

Many can’t afford it; however, there are avenues to take that make it affordable - such as financing. While the financing may seem out of reach for some and scary, there are ways that one can make it doable. Airlines are paying first year First Officers the highest rates to date, nearly 6 digits in your first year at the airlines. The senior pilots will tell stories all day long how they only made $20/hour at the airlines years ago; today, making $90+/hour. It’s incredible to see how the pay has changed over the years, but that also comes with economical changes and other external factors that is out of our control.
There are programs such as the Tuition Reimbursement or Airline Partnerships (like ATP has established) that you can receive incentives on flight time.

Securing the loan can be difficult if you don’t have much credit history. You may need a cosigner. You can apply at any time and see what options are available to you.
