I just signed up to start my prerequisite courses to get into the EMU flight school so I can graduate with a bachelor degree in aviation flight technology allowing me to apply for my ATP. I know my end goal but can someone please explain the journey for me and let me know if this is the best route. Thanks.

Your question is incredibly vague. What I can tell you is no university or other training program will allow you to “apply for your ATP”. While it may enable you to obtain the licenses and ratings required, the ATP certificate has considerable flight time requirements, not the least of which is 1500hr of flight time. I recommend you spend some time reading some of the posts on this forum and then perhaps ask more specific questions.
