I wanted to get some input regarding whether or not having a pacemaker would disqualify me from pursuing aviation. Would the Aviation Medical Examiner have to be the one to determine whether or not I am able to pursue this? I am considering aviation but I want to ask ahead of time before I pursue it more. This is a question for an AME and one that only they can answer for certain. I recommend you contact one before you take any further action.

Thank you very much, one last question: Would a neurological disorder be grounds for disqualification as well even though it can be stable with prescribed medication?
