Just passed my CFI initial yesterday! The whole process is definitely intense, but it is the most rewarding checkride to pass. I’ve never been more stressed in my life leading up to a checkride but ATP did a great job preparing me for the test and I’m excited to almost be done. All I have left is CFII and MEI then my Airline career pilot program is complete!

People are probably tired of hearing me say it but to me the CFI initial is the toughest as literally EVERYTHING is fair game. Great work and home stretch!

Congrats! This is such a huge cert to get and in my opinion, probably the most rewarding! It provides you the opportunity to accept a CFI position getting you that last 1200 hours until the regionals.

Congrats Kyle on the CFI Initial! There are two hard checkrides in the game, Private and CFI Initial (IMO) and you’ve passed both. Good luck with your two final checkrides, they go by quick.

Congrats! My CFI checkride will always be a memorable flight, and I’d agree with Adam and Brady that this one and the Private checkride are the most stressful and difficult as a student! You can see the finish line now, so keep your head down and you’ll be finished with the program in no time! CFII and MEI are add-ons, but can be tough as well. Study and prepare the same way you did for CFI and you’ll do great. Again, congrats new CFI!

Thanks y’all! Yeah I think the thing that makes it so tough is that literally everything you have learned can be asked. But I am excited to finish strong and get to start building hours and finally get paid to fly!
