Previous Employment Question

Hey there! Looking to get into flight training in hopes to become an airline pilot, but I was wondering when the airlines look at my previous jobs if they are only looking if my start and end dates match that to my resume or if they ask the company if I quit or got fired and why I got fired. I did lose a previous job but it was nothing that was law breaking, just a misunderstanding that lead to misconduct. Last thing I’d want to do is take out a big loan just for this hiccup to prevent me from getting a job in the airlines.

W,

HR will be the ones fact checking your resume with your application. Typically they won’t deep dive too much unless there seems to be a red flag somewhere. Answer everything honestly and be open to explaining professionally if it happens to come up. However, it most likely won’t create any issues with future employment.

W,

If that’s your only issue I wouldn’t sweat it. If however they get the same response from multiple employers that would be.
