Question Regarding R-ATP Minimums and Education

So I recently decided that I am committed to a career change in aviation. However, I work a full time job and am not in a position to quit and go to a ATP or an equivalent full time. I am currently attending a Part 141 flight school. My question is if I were to get a aeronautics degree from an online source, for example, (Embry Riddle Online, aka Worldwide). Would this count under AC 61-139 to a R-ATP?

I’m learning towards NO, but I have not been able to find anything definitive and I haven’t had too much time to dive into the AC to read it again to fully understand everything.

You would be correct with the NO answer. I doubt have the reg in front of me (61.59 maybe?) but it said for the reduction the flight training must be done as PART of the degree program.
