When are start times for Colorado Springs? If one had a chance to start late August / early Sept could they get their private done by November and then continue the zero to airline program early Jan (trip planned Nov-end of Dec)?

The only individuals that can answer this question is Admissions. Before you can even enroll, you must make sure you meet ATP’s Prerequisites which include an Admissions Flight.
Any reason you’re questioning to get your PPL before ATP?

Not wanting to get PPL before attending ATP but rather starting ATP and getting private, complete planned trip and then continuing upon return.

My apologies - may have read that wrong. The way it was worded seemed like you were interested in obtaining a PPL then attending ATP. Simple answer here on that note, that is not going to work at ATP. ATP trains like the airlines and that is with consistency and proficiency. Taking a break that long will degrade your skills that you build in your private phase, furthermore, creating potential problems in future phases.
I would wait until after your trip to start at ATP if your trip is a MUST-DO.
