Hello, I’m hoping someone can shed some light or point me in the right direction. I saw a couple people mentioning taking written tests early. How does that work? Due to financial constraints I’m getting my PPL first with a local school so I can keep working my full time job. Is it possible to do the written tests before starting class full time or would it be detrimental? Also is there anything else I could do prior to being an ATP student to help speed the timeline up? The last thing I want to do is miss out on information or barely scrape by. Not looking for shortcuts so to speak, just doing everything I can prior to losing an income. Thanks in advance!

I would not worry about any of the other written exams until after you finish your PPL training.
