Taking the written test before flight training

Hello everyone, I just read on somebody’s post where Tory one of the mentors stated ATP offers an incentive for students who completes all their written exams from PPL through commercial with a passing grade prior to training. Does anyone have any experience with that process and what’s are the chances of someone with no prior flight training whatsoever passing these tests and what can I study to be well prepared before taking it.

Ayuba,

I believe the majority of pilots who train with ATP have taken at least a few if not all of their writtens prior to training. Once you enroll you’ll be given access to the training materials which make it very easy to study. You should also know, right or wrong, the Written exams don’t really follow the training curriculum and most of the learning for the exams is rote. It really is best to get them out of the way so you can focus on what’s relevant.
