Aloha everyone! I am 29 years old turning 30. Is 30 is too old for Aviation? I am thinking off applying as student pilot in my area. Mahalo!
30 is definitely not to old… I’m getting ready to start and I’m 38. One way to look at it, take the mandatory retirement age of 65 and subtract your age, that is how long u could be flying for… obviously subtract the years needed for training…
I start next month and I’m 46. I won’t have the same opportunities that you do at 30, but it’s still worth it to me.
When I was 30 I was building a career in corporate finance. I loved corporate finance, but I’ve changed as I’ve gotten older and now I want to fly.
