What to do with my dog?

I’m planning on going to ATP, but I have one problem. Its me and my dog.
If I choose housing with ATP, do they allow dog? if not I can look for a place outside ATP,
My concern is, will I be able to take care if my dog while in training? will I have time?

Ryan,

You need to find someone to watch your dog for a while. First ATP does not allow pets in the housing. Second who’s going to watch, feed, walk Fido when you’re gone for 2 weeks crewing and then another 2 for CFI school? Finally there will be some VERY long days when you’ll be gone from dawn till dusk, and no, Fido is not allowed in the plane.

ATP does not allow pets in their housing.

You will need to find somebody to watch the dog for several stretches during your training, sometimes for several weeks.

The bigger issue is who is going to watch the dog when you are doing six days straight at the airlines?

I am gonna have to leave the dog with my parents. It sucks because he is very close with me but seems like I dont really have a choice.
