Me again, I’ve been looking into the ATP program and wanted to see if my brother wanted to do with me as well. He is currently in the military stationed in Fort Jackson SC. He is on active duty and was wondering if he can start a program while still on active duty. I figure it would conflict with time but I wanted to make sure and ask you guys who know for sure. Thanks again.

ATPs program requires a fulltime commitment. We don’t even recommend people work part-time or at all. Short answer is there’s no way he could do on active duty. Reserves even struggle.

Absolutely not. It would be a great thing to do after he gets out.
If flying is your dream, I would not wait for your brother to be able to start with you. Seniority is everything and a few months could make a big difference in your career.
