Flight school location

I like to go to the camarillo airport because it is about 35 minutes without traffic. I knowes the marine layer in the day because it is near the beach and we are getting alot of rain recently. The other location that I like to go North Las Vegas Airport, where my brother lives at. I know Vegas get super hot in the summer and has monsoon season. Which airport
will I fly more?

Thanks,
Adrian Randall

Adrian,

No one can predict the weather long term. Every location has its challenges. Further the program has specific flight times so you’re going to fly the same amount regardless of where you go.

Choose the location that works best for you.

Adrian,

ATP wouldn’t continue to operate a location that wasn’t suitable for student to consistently finish on time. Go to the location that would provide you the best foundation for success. Which has the shortest commute for early or late night flights? Which provides the least financial strain? Which location provides you the best study hub without distractions? Just some things to consider…

Thank you, I been at Camarillo Airport. There is time that they can’t fly like clouds is very low because near the beach. Also, there 3,000 dollars premium charge.

Thanks,

Adrian,

Whenever I see the question of “which flight school is best for me” or “which location should I go to,” I always raise an eyebrow because they’re theoretical questions. We don’t know your current situation, lifestyle or future plans in life; therefore, we can’t tell you which flight school, airport or airplane is best for you. I see you’re interested in the Neveda area and while all of us mentors and potential active members on the forum may have been flying for some time, unless we trained specifically in the Neveda region, we don’t know what the training lifestyle is there. One piece we can say confidentially is that ATP has been operating for 40 years AND if there was a location that was not providing quality and efficient training, they would evaluate and make adjustments.

I would recommend you scheduling a tour with the training centers you’re interested in and seeking some feedback from those locations specific. Find the location that is most convenient for YOU. If your goal is to keep costs low and live at home, go for it, if your goal is to explore and not financially restrained, move to a new location and live life.
