I hope everyone is doing super well, and that their dreams are or will come true at ATP Flight School! As my college graduation in December of 2024 nears, I am so excited to soon begin my application process to ATP, as well as begin studying aviation related content prior to my hopeful enrollment.
If it is my goal to begin in January of 2025, when would be the best time to apply? I understand that the demand for enrollment at ATP has dramatically increased in recent times, and rightfully so! I just really want to make sure I apply in sufficient time so I can secure my future in the program.
Sooner is always better than later. It’s a process. You’re loan must be approved and you need to reserve a slot where and when you want it. Further, you want some time in case you’re not accepted to possibly give yourself a chance to reapply and increase your qualifications (ie, get your PPL, etc).
Id start the process after the start of the new year and no later than 6mos out.
Class dates can be reserved up to nine months in advance, but financing approval windows can vary from lender to lender. It is best to contact the Admissions department and speak with them directly. I would call them now and begin the discussion.
