Well it is official…
I AM OFFICIALLY A PILOT
The feeling of passing a checkride is not like no other. It gives me a sense of accomplishment and how hard I’ve worked for. There were times during the checkride that I thought “Did I just bust?” My maneuvers were SAT but emergency flows could’ve been better my performance TOL’s were decent. Definitely was over thinking…
Finally onto Instrument!

Thank you so much Chris, I did have a nice tie on but after the DPE said I passed I instantly took it off to relax myself lol

Congratulations! The private is by far the most nerve-racking because you have no idea what to really expect. Sounds like you did very well! Enjoy this moment because you get right back to work with instrument.

Rough math without factoring any charter or corporate guys, not even 0.01% of ATP rated pilots do not wear ties in the U.S.
