Good Evening Folks,
As I mention before in previous posts, I would post updates about my training to help others out. So here it goes!
As of Friday 7/21 I completed my first week of ATP, and I’m still alive lol jk!! I have an awesome instructor, co-instructors and, “class mates” (if that’s the correct work to use) . This week I completed 2 takeoffs and 2 landings (of course starting from 0 time I needed help) The environment is a great place, everyone is welcoming me and answering all my million questions.
The ground classes are really informative and helpful. I currently have over several pages of notes, just in my first week(oh and a headache from all the information I’m getting, but I like it)
I have never been this excited to go to school, This is my first time in my life where a Friday has come and I’m excited for Monday just to go to school lol.
The upcoming week looks like Ill be working on maneuvers (stalls, steep turns, etc…) oh and also taxing, takeoff and landing. (For some reason I’m having a challenge taxing and landings, I’m not going to get to discourage now as I now I’m still a beginner.)
With all that saying I have roughly 3 hours in my fresh new logbook. (Only 1497 to go lol)
Feel free to ask questions, I feel like I’m leaving out a lot of information, so please ask question if you have any. In the meantime I’m going to get some air tonight and clear my mind for an exciting week next week.
p.s. Oh I forgot to mention I officially have an FAA Tracking number, I’m starting to feel real official.
This is just an update, but as of Saturday I passed my Takeoff and Landing Eval 1(which somewhat determines if I can stay in the program) all thst stressing for nothing…
Currently working on getting ready for my solos, written and PPL checkride. At this very point I still have no complaints with the decion of coming to ATP!
It’s been a long time… I figured I should post something… so where am I am with training? I gave up lol jk… A few hours ago I passed my insturment checkride and now preparing for crew. I’m learning so much information and meeting a lot of people l. I can honestly say yes ATP feels overwhelming at times, but the sleepless nights, hard works, and prayers pays off when you pass your ride on the first try… So far I haven’t regret my decision about atp.
That is absolutely fantastic news! Congratulations and thank you so much for updating us. Nothing makes me happier than seeing my students do well, progress through the program and begin to accomplish their dreams. Please continue to update us.
