I do not know how to navigate this website, so forgive me if the post/question is wrong. My parents are very strict about wanting me to pursue a career with a high salary/great job security. This is because they are immigrants who come from a country with severe poverty, so they are obsessed with riches and job security. I told them I simply want to be a pilot because its my passion but they wont budge and would like expert advice. What kind of salary will I be looking at and does this job have good job security? Is there a chance at being randomly fired or not being able to find a job after graduating? Will I be financially stable as a pilot? Please let me know. I would appreciate any advice.
