I would like to know, is the retirement age of 65 for all commercial airlines regional and majors? Also is it for all commercial flying or just for airlines?
Michael,
The mandatory retirement age of 65 applies to Part 121 airlines only.
Hope this helps,
Robert
Thank you Robert.
And what is a Part 121 airline?
Adam
Michael,
The retirement age restriction applies to all airlines. Things like corporate flight departments are not subject to this, but at some point passengers only want their pilots to be so old, regardless of what kind of airplane they are in.
Chris
Chris,
Okay, thats what I thought but was just confirming. Yeah that is very true, haha.
