Studies for PPL

Hi everyone! I am currently 16 years old so I am not near ATP or any other school to get my PPL yet. Is there any sources or books I can find/buy, to slowly study aviation, and everything else they teach you at flight schools, just so I don’t waste time. Thank you!!!

Sasha,

The FAA has a library of really good reading that’s available on line for FREE!
I recommend you start with the Pilots Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge and the Airplane Flying Handbook but feel free to read whatever looks interesting (see the link before).

Sasha,

To branch off Adam’s response, there are tons of great free resources out there on the internet from domains like BoldMethod, YouTube, AOPA, and anything with aviation related.

Sasha,

If you want to learn about aviation, that is fine, but I honestly would not worry about it until you are much closer to beginning flight school. A better use of your time would be doing well in high school so that you have a good GPA for when you apply to colleges.

Ohh, thanks but I have only 2 classes left, I have around 3.8+ GPA, so I need to study something except computer gaming.
