What is the first step (what are the requirements,) and/or where do I start to get an ATP written exam?
I currently have 1350hrs and plan to get 150 more this Summer.
Airline will do all that in training and they pay for it.
Corporate, some will pay for it. A lot more will than back in the day.
On your own, not really done much these days but if you want to do it ATP has a program as do others.
You can contact ATP, flight safety or acouple other places to get costs and schedule breakdown. I think most would say don’t pay for your ATP when others will. Many don’t even require a training contract these days.

You must complete the ATP/CTP course before you’re eligible to take the ATM written exam. Chris posted the link below for the ATP Jets course in Dallas. If you’re hired by a regional, they will take care of paying for and scheduling the course.
