I came across my grandfather’s last pilot license a few days ago. I thought I was doing well with five type ratings, I count eleven on his. It is interesting to see everything from the DC-3 to the 747 on one rating, it is almost a story line of aviation history.
That’s amazing! Great find, and thanks for sharing!
VERY COOL!

Better step it up, Chris! Clock is ticking. Those ratings aren’t going to get themselves
Sergey,
For real. It is the Constellation rating that I am most envious of. Of course.

Truly a Centennial Pilot! Awesome find Chris!
Then today I found this picture of my other grandfather standing beside a Connie. Both of my grandfathers flew the Constellation, which is funny as I did not know that when I developed my love of the airplane. Someday I hope to see one fly again.
Its amazing to think he flew when airline pilots were treated an paid like surgeons. Has seen all the ebbs and flows of the industry too.
Chris, thank you for sharing ! Did your grandfather ever fly the L1011 or 747SP?
